The Creative Winona Commission and Masonic Subcommittee has begun a renaming process for the Historic Masonic Temple to better reflect its new purpose as a community arts, culture, and recreation center. The Creative Commission invites the public to submit suggestions for a new facility name.
To submit a name for consideration, you may do so by completing the online form linked below or by stopping into the Parks & Recreation office located at 207 Lafayette Street. The deadline for submissions is June 29, 2025.

Upon expiration of the submission deadline, the city will convene a naming committee consisting of the citizen members of the Masonic Subcommittee, city staff and representatives of the Great River Shakespeare Festival to select a name among those submitted.
