West Broadway is closed to traffic from Hilbert Street to Vila Street in addition to Vila Street to the railroad tracks between Jackson Street & South Baker Street now through October 31st for the City’s West Broadway Street Reconstruction project. Vehicles traveling westbound on West Broadway are recommended to turn off at South Baker to avoid having to turn around near the railroad. Vehicles traveling eastbound on West Broadway from Junction Street are recommended to turn off on Lee or Bierce Streets as the Hilbert Street intersection will be closed. A truck detour route is planned to go from Vila Street at Gilmore Avenue through Junction Street to Cummings Street on 5th Street as Cummings Street will be closed at West Broadway.
