Starting at Levee Park in Winona, the Flyway Trail runs across the Highway 43 bridge and historic John A. Latsch Wagon Bridge, through Latsch Island and Aghaming Park, and links to the Great River State Trail. From there, trail users can continue through a network of Wisconsin trails reaching as far as Reedsburg.

The "Flyway Trail Winona Connector" starts at 2 Johnson Street next to the Boathouse Restaurant in Levee Park.

Parking: Visitors may park in Levee Park in municipal lots #9 and #10 for 12 hours. There is also parking on Latsch Island across the main channel of the Mississippi River. For more information on public parking in the City of Winona, visit https://www.cityofwinona.com/755/Public-Parking.
