Aghaming Park is a strip of wild bottomland across the North Channel from Latsch Island. It contains over 1,950 acres of some of the best-preserved floodplain forest in the country. Aghaming Park is an excellent site for birdwatching along the Mississippi flyway - the largest migratory route in the United States.
The Flyway Trail, which is a paved walking/biking path, runs adjacent to Aghaming Park.
Aghaming Park is managed in partnership with the US Fish and Wildlife Service. For more information, visit the US Fish and Wildlife Website.
